THE GULF THROUGH TIME: DARIUSH ZANDI'S PHOTOGRAPHIC JOURNEY

Spanning four decades, The Gulf Through Time captures the landscapes, people, and culture of the UAE and Oman through the lens of Dariush Zandi. Interweaving history, architecture, and everyday life, the exhibition forms a layered narrative—a residue of time.

Cityscapes and landscapes, past and present, black and white and colour, analogue and digital, dissolve into one another, blurring the lines between memory and place, documentation and interpretation. Featuring images from his acclaimed Off-Road in the Emirates series and ongoing publications on the region’s heritage, the exhibition offers a visual record of a rapidly transforming Gulf.

Architect, former Dubai town planner, and lifelong photographer, Zandi’s work reflects a deep connection to the Gulf’s transformation.
