FEDERICO FELLINI GENIUS OF HUMANITY

The reception took place in the presence of H.E. Massimo Baggi, Ambassador of Switzerland to the UAE, and H.E. Nicola Lener, Ambassador of Italy to the UAE.

The exhibition invited visitors to revisit some of the most important works in the history of cinema and, more widely, 20th-century art. Federico Fellini is known for his distinctive style, which blends fantasy and baroque imagery with earthiness. He is recognised as one of the greatest and most influential filmmakers of all time.

Crowned with five Oscars and celebrated at the most illustrious film festivals, Fellini’s work has become universal in its appeal because, with the full force of poetry, it asks questions about the identity of modern man, his place in time, death, power, desire, and ultimately, the very nature of freedom.
